In 2023, I had the honor of donating my time, design skills, and publication know-how to assist author & illustrator duo Heather Bass and Michaela Robertson in their debut book, The Great Rescue - Grayson's Story. The book is inspired by a real-life, fairy-tale adoption story that was only possible thanks to the hard working volunteers and countless donors at Pug Hearts of Houston.
The best part? All profits - that's right - 100% - from this awesome little book go directly to PugHearts of Houston and contribute directly to rescue and veterinary care for some extraordinary dogs.
One of the long term goals of Red Ribbit Reads is to partner with a local or national non-profit for each book. For The Great Rescue, 100% of every book sale has and will continue to go to Pug Hearts of Houston.
